Who are We?
Iowa Shares is a statewide federation
of social action and environmental nonprofit organizations raising
funds through workplace giving. Through research, education, advocacy
and direct service, Iowa Shares' members address problems at their
root causes and implement innovative programs for long-lasting
changes in Iowa's communities and the world.
Working with low-income pet owners and concerned citizens to stop the euthanasia of thousands of unwanted cats and dogs each year, APSI works with pet owners and veterinarians at a reduced cost.
Johnson
County Humane Society helps people in the Johnson County
area care for their cats and dogs by offering subsidized spaying/neutering,
rescue, foster care, cat colony management, a food bank, and emergency
interventions.
Iowa Shares co-sponsors Nonprofit Management Academy
Iowa Shares will again help co-sponsor the Non-profit Management Academy that leads to a Certificate in Non-profit Management. See more info in central column below.
